Bowen Therapy is a very gently, non-invasive treatment which works to rebalance the body.

Bowen came over to the UK from Australia around 30 years ago and its popularity in the UK is growing rapidly as more and more people discover the powerful impact it can have on their general well-being.

The therapy uses small rolling type movements applied to key areas of the body which allow a “conversation” to take place between the brain and the body.

The moves work through the fascia into underlying tissues, with the aim of resetting anything that is out of alignment.

Bowen is a whole body treatment which works quickly and effectively to identify issues and encourage the body to resolve them.

Following a treatment, Bowen continues to work for a few days enabling the body to continue realigning itself, relieving it of any stress and tension that is being held.

It is performed through light clothing and is suitable for any age from birth onwards.

In the days following a Bowen treatment it is important to ensure you continuously sip water and allow your body frequent gentle movement.

We will discuss this more at your appointment.

“When I come out of a Bowen therapy session with Gayle I feel totally at ease, relaxed and all my tension has gone.”
